apgDat Fleet Brings Aircraft Data to the apgDat Product Family
Aviation professionals often need to know details about the various aircraft that comprise the fleets of the world's airlines. With this knowledge, they can perform analyses like determining the potential for an airline to serve a certain route with a certain aircraft, allocating an airline's ownership costs to different fleet types, and reconciling an airline's growth plans with their future aircraft deliveries.
Diio's apgDat Fleet module contains data on nearly 40,000 aircraft flown by airlines all around the world. The database includes stored and parked aircraft, as well as aircraft that are on order or on option for future delivery.
The module firstly provides information first at the summary level so that
apgDat subscribers can quickly ascertain how many aircraft meet user-defined search criteria. Search options include operator, aircraft manufacturer and type, engine manufacturer and type, status, and original delivery date.
The apgDat Fleet module provides significant detail in its reports, outputting information on the aircraft's owner, registration mark, and serial number.
Historical fleet figures are also available at the summary level in the apgDat Fleet module. Querying the data by history recalls the fleet counts of different aircraft operated by an airline at the end of each of the five previous years.
The apgDat Fleet module does not contain sales transaction history, aircraft valuations, or lease payment amounts. It also does not contain maintenance, repair, and overhaul information.
Like
apgDat, apgDat Fleet is sold on a subscription basis for a single annual fee, and there is no limit to the amount of reports that the user can run. Because the Fleet module is an optional add-on to
apgDat , its users must also subscribe to another product in the
apgDat family.
