AirportIS is an Essential Intelligence Tool for Airports to Assess Their Market Potential

Airport Intelligence Services ("AirportIS") offers airports a global solution under a single platform, combining supply and demand information on passenger airline markets worldwide. AirportIS offers accurate, reliable, and affordable data, with schedule data provided by the SRS Analyser and passenger data captured primarily through the Billing and Settlement Plan ("BSP") run by the International Air Transport Association IATA

AirportIS provides airports with key data for various analyses, in order to identify and evaluate potential new routes, monitor passenger travel trends, track future service changes, benchmark trends against peer airport, determine market share, conduct market-sizing exercises for route planning and improved demand-forecasting techniques, understand and target high-yield traffic, understand leakage in a catchment area, and build business cases to approach airlines about potential new service.

AirportIS offers three key datasets under a single platform: the SRS Analyser module shows worldwide airline schedules; the Origin and Destination ("O&D") module shows worldwide passenger flows, based on the same data the airlines use in PaxIS Plus; and the optional Catchment Area module shows which airports are used by passengers who buy tickets in a geographic region. The Catchment Area reports can be used to estimate how many passengers living near one airport "leak" to another airport, either to seek more service options or lower fares.
