PaxIS Plus Complements PaxIS by Estimating 100%
of the World's Airline Traffic
While
PaxIS data represents the most comprehensive airline passenger market intelligence database available today, there are still segments of the market that do not participate in IATA's BSP. Examples of tickets that may not be represented in PaxIS include tickets sold directly by an airline on its website or through its call center, tickets sold by low-cost carriers, tickets sold on charter flights, and tickets sold in nations that do not use BSP.
Because Diio is an industry leader in developing worldwide market sizes, IATA chose us to estimate the worldwide airline passenger flow that was not being captured by BSP. Diio has developed proprietary algorithms for estimating passenger flows based on publicly available data like seat capacity, carrier reported load factors, and quality of service index ("QSI") analyses.
Unlike many bookings-based passenger flow estimating tools, PaxIS Plus will always show the user both the passenger flows that are part of the ticketed BSP dataset, as well as the passenger flows that are estimated. Most other vendors draw on bookings from a limited set of booking engines, and the market share of their sample data is so small that they are embarrassed to show the percentage of the market that they are estimating.
PaxIS Plus data is available in flat files, as well as through a webtool. The flat files come in a standard, ready-to-use format. The webtool allows customized outputs tailored to the user's data request.
The PaxIS Plus webtool can also be integrated with
SRS Analyser, the perfect complement for PaxIS Plus. While
SRS Analyser shows the supply side of the passenger air travel industry, PaxIS Plus shows the demand.
