and technical manager for several of Diio's custom-development engagements for clients
such as IATA and the Star Alliance. He is actively involved in all aspects of Diio's
web application development; from systems administration to database administration to
software engineering, testing, and monitoring.
Mr. Klee has over 12 years of professional software engineering experience and 10 years
of management experience leading numerous client and server-side development teams
through all phases of the product life-cycle.
Prior to his work with Diio, Mr. Klee was Software Engineering Manager at Thin Air Apps,
where he was in charge of the team that developed the company's flagship product, a
secure portal for wireless remote access to an enterprise's Microsoft Exchange, Lotus
Domino, IMAP, or POP mail servers. Thin Air was acquired by Palm, Inc. who leveraged
this technology as a means to compete with RIM's Blackberry.
Prior to Palm, Mr. Klee was Head of Development at Sonata Inc., where he architected a
wireless application server, managed the development of one of the first wireless
location-sensitive directory services, and created drag & drop tools for the visual
design of rich-media advertisements. Before that, Mr. Klee was a core developer of
the Homestead Sitebuilder at Homestead Technologies.
Mr. Klee holds a Bachelors of Science with Honors from Stanford University's Program
in Symbolic Systems.
