John Stanmeyer is a Senior Project Manager at Diio. He is the project lead on various efforts including the PaxIS Level 5 Product, ARC Integration, and general production automation. Mr. Stanmeyer also manages the IT infrastructure for Diio's Reston, VA office.
Prior to joining Diio, Mr. Stanmeyer was a senior econometric programmer and IT manager at Trade Resources Company. In that capacity Mr. Stanmeyer was responsible for economic modeling and data analysis for international antidumping cases, building and processing very large databases, and managing the company's IT infrastructure.
Before joining Trade Resources Company, Mr. Stanmeyer was a programmer/analyst at MCI telecommunications (now Verizon). At MCI, Mr. Stanmeyer worked in the Mass Markets Business Controls group and handled reporting, forecasting, and analyses of current and proposed products and services. He was also responsible for automating numerous data exchanges with outside vendors, developing web reporting tools, and automating the launch of email as a customer fulfillment channel.
Before joining MCI, Mr. Stanmeyer was a principal consultant at Price Waterhouse LLC (now IBM Consulting). At PW, Mr. Stanmeyer focused on transportation cost analysis, particularly air cargo. Mr. Stanmeyer analyses supported annual contract negotiations between the major U.S. combination carriers and the U.S. Postal Service, the single largest purchaser of excess belly cargo capacity. Mr. Stanmeyer also managed the expansion and refinement of a transportation cost allocation system used to allocate the Postal Service's massive expenditures in air, highway, and rail transport to various products.
Mr. Stanmeyer holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
